Al Sharpton

Posted by: beacheagles at 2007-02-02

I trust him. He says what he believes and does so with bluntness and heart. Dare I say, Al is articulate. That got Biden into trouble. I think we have to be a bit gentler with one another given that we have an arrogant, dangerous, runaway president who has no ethics still in charge.......the "decider." Daddy is driving a car off the cliff with us inside, all the nation's family.

Maybe this election could be one in which every Democratic contender could join forces with all the other Democratic contenders and not make the blunders that Bill "Orly" finds so much fun. Be nice and be smart in the decision together..... a group choice. Join together like the family we are and settle problems in the campaign together.

Call me a pollyanna, but we are about to lose our coastal cities to global warming and I don't see a massive effort yet to build levies that won't drown New Orleans again. The Dutch can do it. So can we..... but not if we don't see ourselves as interconnected. Which we are. Anything else is a delusion.

So Al, where do we donate for your campaign? You can't win, but you can be our Jiminy Cricket, keeping, as Anderson Cooper says, them honest. You have a special job to do. We count on that.

Better Than Edwards

Posted by: Anonymous User at 2007-02-16

Al Sharpton may be a crackpot, a racist and a flake, but at least he's not a crook like John Edwards. See www.FlushTheJohn2008.com for details about Edwards that won't get any press on the network news. I think it's great for the Democrats to keep fielding far, far left candidates without a prayer for winning. I think the whole global warming fiasco has pretty much been discredited and is going the way of the great ice age predictions of the '70s. After Katrina, people are starting to realize that the federal government has no business trying to help or prevent natural disasters because A) it's not their job, and B) they don't do it well. All the planks of the liberal platform are rotten and the ship is sinking fast.
