Making our voices heard, our concerns known and participating in the governance of our country is our civic responsibility. Civic virtue is an obligation to our society, our nation & humanity. We earn our civil rights only by performing our civic duties. Afterall, Patriotism in Democracy is NOT a Spectator Sport.
America is at a cross roads today. Of course, there are those who whole-heartedly support Pres. Bush and would like him to be in the Whitehouse for four more years. On the other hand, there are many that believe that Pres. Bush Enroned his way into Washington riding a pair of Hanging Chads in 2000, and then lawyered his way into the Whitehouse. They claim he then blew away all of our fiscal reserves, tanked the economy, and managed to get our good 'ole US of A isolated from the rest of the world thereby raising the global index of Anti-American Hatred to the highest level. As a result, those who do not support Pres. Bush say that looking at the many challenges that we face today (Terrorism, Economic Recession, to name a few), it is time for a change. On the other hand, those who support Pres. Bush firmly believe that he is doing a great job and we are better off re-electing him for one more term.
